The Bridges of Madison County

No doubt this movie is one of the impressive movies I've ever seen.
Meryl Streep is simply stunning in this movie and Eastwood's direction remarkable.

The movie is all about the character played by Meryl Streep and her emotions. And Eastwood just kept it that way till the very end. He played his part quite effectively in the move as an actor as well.

Meryl Streep was so great in bringing the character to life by her expressions and gestures that I'm totally impressed and she won me over!
There were few scenes which I would like to mention specifically here.
1. When Eastwood approaches her with flowers in his hands to give her as a sign of appreciation and Meryl Streep says she would not mind accepting the flowers and continues to say those were poisonous. Hearing this, Eastwood just simply drops them immediately. She burst out laughing seeing his reaction.
I mean, I laughed out loud seeing this scene and in fact watched the scene again and again later.
2. The scene where in Eastwood comes to the kitchen to her help her out in cooking. Her expressions were flawless.
3. The scene where Eastwood stands next to his car waiting for her in that rain. She fights with herself deciding as to what to do.
Simply outstanding.

Please watch it!

Before sunrise

Beautiful!
This will surely take one of the top spots in my fav movies, definitely. Well crafted movie, good direction, great acting.. great stuff. The movie has just two characters, strangers who meet on a train. The best thing what I liked about this movie is the small, little details; details that exist between strangers, details that's seen between those who share an intimate relationship, they have captured in all those wonderful scenes. The actors have done a great job in getting those minute details in their expressions, in their dialogues, the voice modulation.. simply remarkable.

Its worth mentioning these scenes, which impressed me:
- The scene where the actor comes to the actress and requests her to get off the train along with him to spend the rest of the day with him. I mean, the actress portrayed everything what that character, what that moment asked for.
- Both of them enter into the small room in the record shop where they listen to the song 'Come here'. A sweet little scene makes you smile. Both give some great expressions.
- And many more of these kinds..

Few lines from the movie:
Poem-
"Daydream delusion
Limousine eyelash
Oh, baby, with your pretty face
Drop a tear in my wineglass
Look at those big eyes
See what you mean to me
Sweet cakes and milkshakes:
I am a delusion angel
I'm a fantasy parade
I want you to know what I think
Don't want you to guess anymore
You have no idea where I came from
We have no idea where we're going
Lodged in life, like branches in the river
Flowing downstream
caught in the current
I carry you, you'll carry me
That's how it could be
Don't you know me?
Don't you know me by now?"

- "You know, I believe if there's any kind of God... it wouldn't be in any of us, not you or me... but just this little space in between. If there's any kind of magic in this world... it must be in the attempt of understanding someone, sharing something. I know it's almost impossible to succeed... but who cares, really? The answer must be in the attempt."

The hangover

LMAO! :)
Oh yeah, I really enjoyed this movie. The movie never runs out of the ROFL lines. Literally, the movie is filled with some wonderful lines and all the main characters did justice to their roles. Many would tag this movie to be male humored but I feel the female audience will enjoy it equally!
P.S: Don't come back fuming if its not your kinda movie :)

Crash

This is one of the best movies I have watched in recent times. Great piece of work in getting the characters up.
Film is all about perceptions, prejudices and opinions. Opinions are proved wrong in each characters' lives. Great twists makes the movie more interesting. Please watch it.

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani

Considering the previous movies done by the director, Rajkumar Santoshi and watching the nice promos, I went to watch 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' with high expectations. But to my disappointment, it turned out to be an average movie and suitable for only kids. I am saying this because there is no real story, fight scenes and humor suitable for naive kids (except for few genuine laughs here and there) and no defined characters. You will be left wondering where is the movie heading towards during the initial part of the movie and during the later part, you will simply sit there guessing as what will happen next. The only thing which forces you to sit and witness this silly movie by renowned director is the sincere effort put in by Ranbir and Katrina. You might come out of the theater refreshed only because of the good play by Ranbir and Katrina and some melodious songs.

Seven pounds

A very sensible and emotional movie. Will Smith has done a great job and will surely make you cry in few scenes at the end. Well directed as well and will keep your interest throughout.

Ben : There's been a suicide
911 : Who's the victim?
Ben : I am.
